Also avoid chocolates at night, especially milk chocolates because it contains more sugar if compared to the other kinds. It’s best not to eat anything sweet before sleeping.

Place an Ice Pack on the Pillow: It is quite obvious that you might not get a hold of any dentist in the middle of the night. But what you can do is, place an ice pack on the pillow and sleep on the side where the pain has emerged. It will lessen the discomfort and you will be able to get some sleep.

Use Cold Water to Brush: Whether you are suffering from a toothache or not, brushing and flossing is a must before sleeping. Not following it regularly will certainly will bring in a lot of dental issues for you. However, do not miss out on it or else your sleep will get hampered most of the days.

Keep Your Head Upright: Take the help of your pillow so that you can prop your head. Sleep in an elevated position and you will realize that the pain has diminished and eventually you will fall asleep. So, be very careful with the positioning of your head.

Rinse with Antibacterial Mouthwash: Using a cosmetic mouthwash might not be a good idea if you are going through a toothache. Therefore, rinse your mouth properly with an antibacterial mouthwash which will keep the bacteria away.
